Alameen lokhit charitable trust established in 1994 to promote education awareness in Muslim community by helping low income group students to pursue their higher education. It is a movement of awakening the community to be at par with others in the field of education and economy. The main object of the trust to spread of importance of education, encouraging, providing information and financial assistance to boost community morals against depressed conditions due to lack of opportunity due to illiteracy. There are five pillars in Islam. (1) kalima (2) salat (3) fasting in Ramdan (4) zakat by wealthy for poor and (5) Haj. Every Muslim having financial resources donates zakat at fixed rate to the poor.He is a giver and poor who receives donations is a taker. Giver does not know to whom he should help, hence many, who are in habit of collecting money more than his requirements from rich people, that makes them lazy and unproductive. A needy and poor student who is in need of help, doesn’t know to whom he should approach for help and doner who wants to help doesn’t know whom he should help. So large amount of zakat reaching to in eligible people. Al Ameen lokhit charitable trust is a platform where a poor approaches for help and rich donates zakat for needy and poor. So the donations to the trust reach to the really needy students for their education and carrier building.
